In early June, the global beach ranking organization Corona Beach 100 (USA) announced its list of the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world for 2026.
The only representative from Vietnam on the list is Soi Sim beach, located on the island of the same name in the core area of Ha Long Bay. This destination is still relatively unknown to many tourists due to its isolated location and limited tourist services.
Soi Sim Island covers an area of approximately 8.7 hectares and is located about 12km from Tuan Chau International Passenger Port. Visitors wishing to reach the island usually have to take a boat on tour route number 2, which takes about 90 minutes.
According to information from the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board, the unit is coordinating with relevant units to bring Soi Sim beach into operation to welcome visitors as soon as possible.
